"TWEWY ideas"
I picked up The World Ends With You again since I never actually finished the game. My diaperbrain has been conjuring up so many ideas for the characters. I wanna give partial blame to the scene where Neku makes fun of Shiki for still having stuffed animals at her age. Like, I was gonna imagine Neku as a little anyway, but I think it'd be hilarious if he said that while going around padded. "You're such a baby, Shiki!", he says right after he takes out his pacifier. I don't know Neku's full story just yet, but it seems like it's tragic given how much he distrusts people and doesn't want to get close to them. I feel like being a little would help him heal, he'd just be so stubborn about refusing to try it. And then, when he finally does cave he still tries to deny it when he's in full little gear.
Shiki would be like his big sister caregiver. She thinks its really cute that Neku tries to act all cold and tough when he's really just a huge baby. His personality doesn't really change much when he's in littlespace, he's still a pain in the ass. But, he has his moments of being soft. Shiki even lets Neku play with Mr. Mew, even though he claims to not like him. She has caught him on multiple occasions cuddling her possessed(?) toy "pig".
Joshua is a character that I've really latched onto, even though I've just met him. I know a little about him (and the others) since I got introduced to them in Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. But, I'd say he is my favorite so far. To me, Joshua is both a little and also a caregiver in a way. He loves taking care of Neku and teasing him about being a baby but he himself has no room to talk. Unlike Neku, who at least tries to be secretive about his little side, Joshua is very open about it. This dude will run around without any pants on, his diaper fully visible and be like, "What's the matter, Neku? You got a problem or something?". As if he couldn't be even more of a little shit.
In terms of being a caregiver, Joshua would be the equivalent of a big brother to Neku. But, like the kind that teases you and always messes with you. He mostly likes being a caregiver to Neku to piss him off and belittle him. He'd tease him about not being able to make it to the toilet on time and boast about how "I've upgraded to pull-ups and you're still stuck in diapers!". "Aww, can't feed yourself little buddy? Lemme do it for you", as he gives Neku the most shit eating grin. Joshua's also the type of guy to expose the fact Neku is a little to as many Players as possible. They'll be having normal conversations with other Players and suddenly Joshua will just drop something like, "Oh yeah! Isn't it time for your bottle, Neku?" out loud for everyone to hear. If they weren't already stuck in a game where their life was on the line, Neku would of slaughtered him by now.
I like the idea of Beat and Rhyme being littles too. Beat comes off as all tough and aggresive, but he's literally yelling at you while holding a bottle of milk. It was actually Rhyme that got him into being an age regressor. She was the one who entered the game all padded up and with her paci. Beat found out and instead of judging her he actually got interested. She said it helped her stay calm in the RG (as well as during the game) so he decided to try it out as well. Rhyme said when they both got out of the game together they could meet up in the RG and she'd teach him all about being a little. This, of course, didn't happen since she got annihilated in the first game but they can dream XD.
Beat continued being in littlespace even after becoming a reaper. The other reapers would make fun of him since he very clearly was wearing a big, poofy diaper underneath his pants. It also didn't help that he'd be yelling and threatening them while holding a bottle, pacifier, etc. He didn't really care what they thought though. In honor of Rhyme, he'd still continue being a little.
